Comer en las primeras horas del día no sólo beneficia nuestro organismo, sino que es vital para mantener nuestra mente activa. Numerosos estudios científicos demuestran, por ejemplo, que los niños que van a la escuela sin desayunar muestran una disminución de su capacidad física máxima, resistencia al esfuerzo, fuerza muscular, y capacidad de concentración y aprendizaje. Sin exagerar son 5 comidas diarias!!! Los nutricionistas recomiendan realizar entre cuatro y cinco comidas al día para estar sano. Para ello, es aconsejable reducir las cantidades en cada una de las tomas diarias; es la mejor forma de mantener una dieta constante y equilibrada. Se recomienda un desayuno generoso a primera hora de la mañana, tomar algo ligero como una pieza de fruta a mediodía, una comida equilibrada, una merienda suave a media tarde y realizar una cena ligera. Por la noche, el metabolismo trabaja más despacio, haciendo las digestiones más pesadas.

El agua es fuente de vida: un 60% de nuestro organismo está compuesto por este elemento. Además, el agua que consumimos trae consigo otras sustancias vitales, como sales minerales importantísimas en diversos procesos bioquímicos. Así, al beberla, podemos ingerir magnesio, calcio o incluso cloro. Es importante beber entre 2 y 3 litros de agua al día, lo que equivale a 8 vasos diarios, para "reponer" la cantidad de agua que perdemos durante el día. Una dieta saludable es la que incluye cuatro o cinco piezas de frutas y verduras al día, que pueden alternarse en el desayuno, comida y cena. Estos alimentos son ligeros, sanos y ricos en vitaminas, minerales y antioxidantes.

A todo esto y recomendación exclusivamente mía, realizá ejercicio ya sea salir a caminar, a correr, algún deporte que te guste y hacelo las veces que puedas en la semana, según tus tiempos!!

The 2010 Pirelli Calendar, now in its 37th edition, was presented to the press and to guests and collectors from around the world, at its global premiere in London. The much-awaited appointment with 'The Cal', a cult object for over 40 years, was held this year at Old Billingsgate, the suggestive late 19th century building on the banks of the Thames, where from 1875 to 1982 it housed the capital city's fish market.
From its birth 46 years ago, the Pirelli calendar has been considered as one of most celebrated icons of corporate communication, at the same level of notoriety like the Ferrari logo or the Coca-Cola bottle and the classic "long P" of Pirelli.

Terry Richardson's 2010 Pirelli calendar. Shot it last month in Bahia, Brazil, which includes Daisy Lowe, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Eniko Mihalik, Catherine McNeil, Lily Cole, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Miranda Kerr, Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, Marloes Horst, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Terry produced thousands of images from the shoot with the girls holding sloths, fruit, roosters, and holding hands while running through waves in little else than a bikini bottom. The goal this year was to use "no makeup, no reflectors — only the flash of the camera — no branded clothes or jewelry, no girls altered surgically," Fifty images will make the final cut when the calendar is debuted Nov. 19 in London.

He portrays a woman who is captivating because she is natural, who plays with stereotypes in order to undo them, who makes irony the only veil she covers herself with. This is a return to the natural, authentic atmospheres and images of the '60s and '70s. It is a clear homage to the Calendar's origins, a throwback to the first editions by Robert Freeman (1964), Brian Duffy (1965) and Harry Peccinotti (1968 and 1969). Terry Richardson, like his illustrious predecessors, has chosen a simple kind of photography, without retouching, where naturalness prevails over technique and becomes the key to removing artificial excesses in vogue today to reveal the true woman underneath.

he 2010 edition is a clear expression and Terry Richardson is its interpreter: he portrays figures without frills, removed from complicated and artificial contexts set by fashion trends. The setting has no showy backgrounds or schemes, in line with the photographer's simplicity and focus on the essential. "A great photographer," says Richardson, "captures the moment - that's why I shoot without extra equipment and without assistants.

"My technique is the absence of technique: the lens is my eye, my charisma, my ability to capture moments of truth, whatever they may be, picture angles, use of color, light, scenery - these have always been the essential aspects of my photographic art."

El Haight sin dudas es la referencia del rock en los años 60', pero también es la puerta de entrada a una de las más espectaculares áreas verdes urbanas de Estados Unidos y el lugar es asombroso al estar cerca de la Bahía, es inspirador. Cerca, muy cerca esta el Golden Gate Park. El parque es la versión de la costa oeste de Central Park en Nueva York y alberga una gran variedad de atracciones. Hay jardines botánicos y un jardín japonés para inspirarse y calmar el alma de los viajeros. El Golden Gate Park es un planetario para estudiar el cielo y contemplar el Big Bang... Se encuentra en la zona una abundancia de actividades recreativas y el famoso acuario Steinhardt, el cuál vale la pena visitar! Un picnic entre las pequeñas lagunas, en un día de sol, lo es todo! Dicen que si se observa cuidadosamente, incluso se puede ver el fantasma de don Quijote.

Durante el verano del amor, el parque fue el escenario de la tarde agradable de burbujas gigantes, cantidad de barriletes de colores y el 14 de enero de 1967, el amplificador de los Jefferson Airplane inauguró el Human Be-In en el Polo Grounds en dónde asistieron figuras cómo Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Jerry Rubin y el Dr. Timoth Leary.

Del mismo modo que el Expresionismo tuvo diversos focos de desarrollo y actividad en la propia Alemania, arraigó notablemente fuera de sus fronteras, siendo Austria uno de los puntos más destacados en el desarrollo de esta tendencia, un país con importantes similitudes culturales con Alemania.
Viena acaparó el interés como núcleo aglutinador del movimiento, una ciudad que, como cabeza del imperio austrohúngaro, se mostraba como crisol aglutinador de culturas de variada nacionalidad, diversidad que se extendía al ámbito del idioma y credos religiosos.
Viena mostraba una serie de peculiaridades en relación a su panorama artístico. La secesión había concluido y Gustav Klimt capitaneaba al grupo de artistas más progresistas. A ellos se debió la presentación en territorio austriaco de los principales artistas de vanguardia, entre otros Gauguin, Van Gogh, Munch y Matisse, tan importantes en la definición del lenguaje de todos los expresionistas alemanes.
Fue en este contexto donde destacaron una serie de pintores que formados a la sombra de Klimt, desarrollaron planteamientos y modos próximos al Expresionismo, aunque sin renunciar a una serie rasgos definitorios y personales derivados de sus contextos y experiencias vitales que les hicieron un tanto difícil de clasificar.

Rapidly executed during Klimt´s late period, this sensuous drawing belong to a large group of works that fous on women, strongly recalling the central figures in the paintings The Maiden (1912-13; Národni Galerie, Prague) and The Bride (1917-18; private collection, on loan to the Osterreichische Galerie Belvedere, Vienna). Klimt was known to draw for many hours each day, often experimentting extensively with a single motif, such as the one seen here, of a woman with her head resting languidly on her shoulder. In addition he relied on multiple drawings, sometimes from vastly different periods, to make a single painting, rendering it difficult to conclusively assinga drawing as preparatory to a particular painting. Most closely associated with The Bride and her long, almost geometric braids, Half-figure of a Young Woman is, characteritically, worked up from sketchy light grey lines into a darker, more agitated strokes.

1890s THE HEIRESS

One of the first archetypes of the american women to emerge with the rise of the popular press in the late 19th. Century. Strict rules of etiquette governed her behaviour and appearance.

1890s THE GIBSON GIRL

The Gibson Girl was the first to challange European hegemony over accepted standars of styles and beauty, and emerge as a distinct -and distinctive- 'American type'. TGG was depicted as a tall and slender with long limbs, classical features, and thick dark hair caught up. The clothes reflected a modern, liberated femeninity. They play different sports, such as tennis & golf.

1990s THE BOHEMIAN

Demand for greater freedom of personal expression. She liberated woman to venture into the public sphere, but instead of sports she used the arts as ameans to further their development as autonomus individuals. Bohemian involvement in art revolved less around its production thn its consumption.

1910s THE PATRIOT AND THE SUFFRAGIST

Gold, purple, white & green (later purple, white& green) were their specific colors. For the suffragist, fahionable dress was a form of femenin protest. 'Votes for Woman' - 'Mr. President: how long mustwomen wait for liberty'-

1920s THE FLAPPER

Archetype of femeninity that redefined the concept of freedom as sexual rather than political. As they rouged their lips, bobled her hair, drank bootleg gin, smoked Lucky Strikes, danced the Charleston and necked in the backseats of Roadsters, the Flapper marked the ultimate rejection of Victorian prohibitions against sexual expression. In appearance she was slim, athletic and youthful. The dress style reflected not only the flappers sexual freedom but also her urbanity and contemporaneity.

1930s THE SCREEN SIREN

Movies. By the 1920s with the raise of Hollywood their influence had become universal and by the 1930s, it was absolute. The idea of beauty was less youthful and more sophisticated. The Screen Siren was womanly and sensuous, slim but curvaceus and glmorous. By the way, I love this decade.
